The publication Hanns Kunitzberger Die Orte der BilderPainting
(The Places Of Pictures) appears on the occasion of the retrospective Hanns Kunitzberger 10 years of painting, including his most important recent projects like the exhibition Die Orte der Bilder from May to July 2006 in the Künstlerhaus Vienna, where in a comprehensive presentation of 80 works it was possible to trace the development of presence and absence in his painting.
On the occasion of this exhibition the Symposium Die Orte der Bilder, Roundtable discussions, film matinee and concerts of contemporary music, took place in the Künstlerhaus Vienna: Idea and concept by Hanns Kunitzberger, contents of the roundtable discussions in cooperation with Hans Belting,
